Gorgeous and deliciously sweet, 'Snow White' will change your mind about white tomatoes. I've never had a bad year with this variety. Whether the growing year was hot and sunny or cold and rainy, this has been a dependable, flavourful, and very bountiful producer.
Fruits develop from green to creamy white, ripening to pale yellow. Has a wonderful fruity flavour. Be sure to provide some space and stake diligently. This plant grows into a many tentacled beast.
This is also a variety that dependably ripens off the vine. Even when I want green tomatoes for pickling and roasting, 'Snow White' won't stay green on the counter very long.
Special Notes: Indeterminate vines. Open-pollinated. Creamy white, large cherry, ripens to pale yellow. Mid to late-season and keeps producing until frost. 70-75 days.
No less than 25 seed per packet.
Seed Starting and Growing: Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed.
About You Grow Girl Seeds:
All of the seeds that I sell were lovingly homegrown and harvested by me, small scale, in my urban garden using organic methods only -- no chemicals or pesticides whatsoever. Tomato varieties are isolated to stay true using the flower bagging method and I test for germination quality. I take special care in choosing varieties that I find unusual, interesting and fabulous, and/or especially suitable for growing in small space gardens.
