'Hahms Gelbe Topftomate' is an unusual, German, dwarf tomato variety that grows like gangbusters in an 8-12" pot. The plants shown in photos are of my own plants grown in sap buckets, and as you can see they do very well in unforgiving conditions. A great variety if your sunny garden space is limited to a few feet at most.
This variety produces legions of delicious, golden cherry-sized fruit on ornate, rugose foliage. As you can see, this is quite an ornamental tomato and I often grow a pot out front, right on my doorstep.
Special Notes: Dwarf. Early producer. Great container variety. Ornamental.
No less than 15 seed per packet.
Seed Starting and Growing:
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed.
About You Grow Girl Seeds:
All of the seeds that I sell were lovingly homegrown and harvested by me, small scale, in my urban garden using organic methods only -- no chemicals or pesticides whatsoever. Tomato varieties are isolated to stay true using the flower bagging method and I test for germination quality. I take special care in choosing varieties that I find unusual, interesting and fabulous, and/or especially suitable for growing in small space gardens.
