Black Sea Man Tomato Seeds -- Great for Containers
Wanna grow a boldly-flavoured sandwich slicer in a pot? 'Black Seaman' is a container gardener's dream, offering up a complexly-flavoured and good-sized fruit in a surprisingly compact space. And it's prolific to boot!
I have to admit that I was not a fan of this variety when I first tested it on my roof garden back in 2006. However, that was an exceptionally poor, wet year. Despite a bad first impression I went on to grow the variety out year after year and have experienced a major change of heart. 'Black Sea Man' has proven to be a consistently good producer with an unusual salty flavour that I have yet to match in another variety. I now consider it a must-grow variety!

About You Grow Girl Seeds:
All of the seeds that I sell were lovingly homegrown and harvested by me, small scale, in my urban garden using organic methods only -- no chemicals or pesticides whatsoever. Tomato varieties are isolated to stay true using the flower bagging method and I test for germination quality. I take special care in choosing varieties that I find unusual, interesting and fabulous, and/or especially suitable for growing in small space gardens.
